Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo or bust!

A little background music to set the mood while you read  :)

I am super excited to share with you that I will be going to Chicago as part of the official Gluten and Allergen Free Expo blogging team!

The GFAF expo is the largest gluten free expo in the United States.  There will be over 20 classes/seminars presented by the nation's leading chefs, best-selling cookbook authors and nutrition and health experts.  Over 100 gluten free vendors (and also many free of the top 8 food allergy) will have product samples and coupons.  I don't know about you, but I love trying new products and I love to save money!   It makes my heart happy to know there will be a dedicated area to nut-free products.  There will be hard to find products and cookbooks for sale.  You will even get to meet some of the authors.  Just thinking about a room full of people dedicated to gluten free and allergen free living makes me excited.  It is good to know we are not on this journey alone :)

The expo focuses on the needs of those with celiac, gluten sensitivites, auto-immune/anti-inflammatory diseases and autism.  If you are an athlete or health conscious, you might be interested in the raw foods, supplements, protein bars/shakes and detox options.

Admission is $25 for adults and $5 for children.  There is even a kids area, so you can bring your whole family along.  They suggest purchasing your tickets online prior to attending so you can avoid the long lines, but they will have tickets available at the door.

Will you join me April 20th and 21st at the Chicago Gluten Free Allergen Free Expo?  You can find me in the blogging area.  I would love to have you stop by and say hello!

If Chicago isn't an option for you, there are other expos in Des Moines, Seacaucus, and Dallas.

I do say, this expo sounds like a gem!  (I just finished watching Downton Abbey and I guess the English accent is lingering on in my mind.)

More to come on the Windy City's  expo in the next few weeks.
